CS GO eSports – The Way of the Winner
CS GO eSports have become quite a popular activity nowadays, with more and more people logging for a match or a tournament every day. This successful multiplayer first-person shooter gathers people into teams, playing for items and becoming the best at what they do. The more they play, the easier it would become for them to become professional CSGO players.
What is CS GO eSports and How Do You Play?
CSGO is a MOBA game where players round up in teams of five, playing on two separate fronts: the terrorists and the counter-terrorists. Terrorists have the task of going on the offensive by placing a bomb at different points, whereas counter-terrorists have the purpose of finding that bomb and making sure that it does not go off.
Overall, here is how you play the CSGO eSports:
- Every match is made from 30 rounds, and the first team to hit 16 rounds is declared the winner.
- Players are required to switch teams once they reach the 15th round mark.
- Bombs will detonate about 35 seconds after they have been set, so the purpose of the counter-terrorist is to find and defuse the bomb before it has a chance to go off.
- Any of the teams may be declared the winner if they manage to wipe out the entire opposing team.
As opposed to other MOBA games, this one does not have the players respawning throughout the game – but only at the beginning of each round. The moment one team kills all the players in their opposition, that team is declared the winner. In Counter Strike eSports, the team that is most successful in winning multiple matches is the likeliest to enter the top ranks of the video game.
Going Pro on eSport CSGO Tournaments
Some people enjoy playing the eSport CSGO for the sake of casual matches. They just play the game now and again and do not necessarily dive into the bigger tournaments and events. They are playing it “just for the sport,” so to speak, because they want to occupy their day by spending a couple of hours on the steam.
That being said, there are also quite a few players that wish to take their game to another level and become a professional in the playing field. Since CSGO can only be played in teams, you may only win a tournament by joining together with your team.
There are various tournaments that you may enter as an eSport CS GO player, from weekly to monthly and minor tournaments. These tournaments may have quite a small prize pool, but they are a very convenient way of raising your experience as a beginner. Most people that are joining these tournaments are those that have only begun playing the eSports CSGO and they simply need the practice.
That being said, the bigger tournaments also have bigger prize pools. For this reason, it is understandable why people prefer major tournaments and above. Part of the CSGO major championships are premier matches, but you also come across a variety of Valve-sponsored matches as well. The main championship march comes with a million-dollar prize pool as well, so there is quite the battle into winning that particular championship. Depending on the nature of the prize, you may use it to purchase gear for new tournaments.
Making a Sport Out of the Sport
With more than 200 million watching the tournaments, the eSports Counter Strike has become one of the most popular eSports of the past few years. There are countless bets that you may place while watching a tournament – an activity that has become like a sport itself. You may place bets on who draws the first blood, or on which player has the highest score at the end of the match.
The Bottom Line
With that said, the more accurate your bets are, the higher the chances of you winning also are. With these bets, not only may you win a coin for the game, but you may also win weapons and skins. The eSports CSGO is one that can win you quite a lot of advantages and entertainment.
