CSGO Players – Becoming the Best in Your Role

Whenever you are playing an online first-person shooter, the chances are very high that you will have to assume a role – whether it was set from the beginning or not. With CSGO players, even if you start by plying at random, there is a high chance that you will end up assuming a role throughout the game. To become the best Counter Strike player, you will just have to understand how this system works.

Understanding the CSGO Players Formation

First things first, for a CSGO match to be successful, you will have to form teams of five versus five. While technically speaking no CSGO pro players are specifically assigned a role, it is recommended that the role is eventually defined. This way, you will know exactly what you will have to do and how you may become the best CSGO player.

That being said, each player is essential when it comes to becoming a winner – particularly if you want to hang on to a good strategy. As long as the CSGO player count has been set for the round, you will have to determine which players take what role so that you may create a strategy.

The Player Role

As we have mentioned, once we know the Counter Strike player count, you will also need to determine a role. When you play, the best CSGO players will have the following roles:

  • Entry Fragger: Some people believe the entry fragger is likely among the most important players, as they are the ones that start the scoreboard and handle the first kills. They are practically the “tanks” that are sent to break down the lines of the enemy, dealing most of the damage.
  • Refragger (Playmaker): The refragger – also known as the playmaker – acts as a support for the entry fragger and takes down the enemies that the fragger could not. They also have the job of making sure the fragger does not get killed.
  • Strategy Caller: The “brains” of this operation, the strategy caller also usually takes the role of the team captain. They will take care of roles, timing, and are generally the ones that understand the games the most. The Counter Strike Global Offensive best player generally takes the role of the strategy caller.
  • Lurker: The lurker’s job is to gather as much information as they can about their enemy and then relay that information back to their team – and especially the strategy caller. They are especially good at sneaking around and staying hidden from sight (until needed otherwise).
  • AWPer: The AWPer’s job is to be victorious in a ranged battle. Awpers should have great reflexes and reach their enemies even if they have to go through tight angles. Some of the top CSGO players are AWPers.

Final Thoughts

To become CSGO pro players, you will first have to understand your role properly. That being said, once you know what you have to do, you aren’t very far from winning the prize money.
